WyoGives is a statewide day of giving and a chance for you to make an impact with your favorite non-profits across the state. WyAEE would be honored to be on your list!

This year we are raising funds to support Get Wild Wyoming, a project to increase outdoor learning time in preschools and kindergartens. WyAEE has partnered with the Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) to expand this amazing program that takes young students outdoors for learning and discovery experiences. WDE recruits participating teachers; WyAEE provides training through our online course Teaching & Learning Outdoors. However, we also need funds to purchase basic supplies that parents can’t always afford and schools don’t provide:
  • appropriate clothing for going outside in any season
  • umbrellas, sunscreen, water bottles
  • wagons to haul supplies
  • teaching materials

WyAEE will also use some of the funds raised to expand Outside for 5 in Wyoming. This national program encourages educators to take their students outside to learn for at least 5 minutes a day, 5 days a week. The goal is to raise awareness of the value of learning in nature and encourage more time outdoors.

Your donation will support WyAEE’s mission to expand access to high-quality environmental education, and it will bring the benefits of nature learning to early childhood.
