National Geographic is taking young learners on a virtual excursion through some of the most awe-inspiring natural treasures with its new Summer Adventures on the Road series. Bring your young people along to learn about wildlife, Indigenous history and unique geological characteristics at every stop.
Join National Geographic as they start out at Yellowstone National Park, home to rainbow colored waters, steaming geysers, and mystifying calderas, as well as bison and bighorn sheep.
Learners can engage in activities for ages 4+ that infuse video, interactive mapping, journaling, outdoor exercises and more with resources that can be used for virtual learning or as a guide for in-person trips. In addition, youth can participate in Book Quest, an interactive challenge in which readers must uncover clues to get to the end of the journey.
